Dylan Millar is a bright, highly creative, talented and ambitious Chef and patisserie exponent. His passion is to continue to hone and develop his skills in every aspect of the industry that he loves. As a business owner and Front of house Manager for some of South Africa’s top restaurants, he has developed independence and great marketing, management and people skills. Above all though, he still values and seeks the experience that can be gained from any challenge to do something new, exciting and extraordinary.
He was chosen as one of only 3 out of 50 applicants to be accepted into the Chef training course at the exclusive five star ‘De Hoek Country Hotel.’ It is from this kind of quality environment that Dylan has learned and grown to be the expert exponent of all areas of catering that he is today.
As a consultant on retainer as front of house Manager for top restaurants like DW 11- 13 and Lupa Ostaria, to being the sole proprietor in his own business, Dylan always displays his resilience, flexibility and absolute determination to ensure that every order no matter how big or small is carried out to perfection – with a smile!
